He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Hooks Plummer and John Leroy Plummer; his wife Shirley Simpson Plummer; and his siblings, Ross, Lou Plummer, Johnny Plummer, Louise Yates and Agnes Williams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Walters and Don Plummer; his children, Darrill Plummer (Jamie), Kenneth Plummer, Beverly Plummer Watts (Ray) and Chrissy Plummer Smith; and his grandchildren, Jon, Melissa, Matthew, Liz, Jessica, Courtney, Nicholas, Caleb and Joey. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (100 Pine Grove Church Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
