It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Sudie Troutman of Midland, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Addison Chaney, Jr. and Sudie Mack Sloop Chaney; and her brothers, John Chaney III and Howard Chaney. She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" Franklin Troutman, Sr.; her children, Karen Troutman Duncan of Midland, Janice Troutman Schmugge of Monroe, William "Bill" Troutman, Jr. of Midland, Robert "Bobby" Troutman of Oakboro, Ginger Troutman Pains, Forrest Troutman and Farrah Troutman; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Raymond, Nicole, William, Daniel, Brittany, Mateo, Lola, Stella, Isaac and Lillian. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
