We announce the death of Rodney Davis Tucker of Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurley Tucker and Lois Tucker. He is survived by: his brother Dale (Terry) of Charlotte; his children, Rodney Jr. (Mary) of Locust, Rowdy of Locust, Rusty (Brandi) of Locust and Rendee (Heath) of Stanfield; his grandchildren, Alisha Hunt (Cody) of Norwood, Jeremy Hunt (Allison) of Albemarle, Matt Tucker (Sydney) of Pageland, SC and Justin Tucker of Mt, Pleasant.; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Mason Rutherford of Norwood, Maddix and Maylynn Hunt of Albemarle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland (13575 Broadway Ave, Midland, NC 28107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dulin's Grove Church (11200 Arlington Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227).
