It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Mildred Pennell of Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John William and Cordia Sloop Sutton; and her husband Donald Pennell. She is survived by : her son Kevin Pennell (Laura); and her grandchildren, Holly Pennell Gillespie (Joshua), Emily Pennell and Matthew Pennell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
