He is survived by: his wife Kay Marie Blackwelder Burnette; his sons, Steven Ray Burnette (Elaine) of Midland and Richard Alexander Burnette of Midland; his siblings, Wade Burnette (Darlene) of Monroe, NC, Ann Simpson (Larry) of Concord and Judy Eudy (Mitchell) of Concord; and his grandson Keith Vaughn of Midland.
