She was predeceased by : her husband Reverend William Calvin McLelland of Hattiesburg, MS; her parents, Charles Wilson Floyd and Dona Cone Floyd of Edwards, MS.; her brothers, R. E. Floyd, Charles Curtis Floyd of Edwards, MS and Lomax Floyd of Jackson, MS; and her great grandchild Julian Alexander Barron of Kannapolis, NC..

She is survived by : her children, O'Lynda Lee McLelland Walker (Denver) of Midland, NC and William Calvin McLelland II (Martha) of Pearl, MS.; her grandchildren, Amanda McLelland Jones Harpole (James) of Southaven, MS, Trey McLelland of Brookhaven, MS, Kimberley Shoemaker Barron (Micah) of China Grove, NC and Holly Shoemaker Carter (Larry) of Christiansburg, VA; and also Maria Britt. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
