He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Junior and Betty Lou Wilson Laughter; and his sisters, Judy Elaine Laughter and Joyce Elaine Painter. He is survived by: his nephew Justin Painter; his siblings, Joe Larry Laughter of Lake Lure, NC, Patsy Arrowood (Verno) of Union Mills, NC, Betty Jo Owensby of Mill Spring, NC and Sharon Kay Laughter of Sunny View, NC; and his pet Cutie-Pie. He is also survived by several aunts, nieces and nephews.
