Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Parker-Binns of Mill Spring, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 75, on April 22, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Parker and Hazel Parker. She is survived by : her significant other Robert J. Binns; her children, Lulu, Kathy, Kelly of Mill Spring, NC, Robert and John of Fort Lauderdale; her grandchildren, Ashley, Cory, Andrea and Nathaniel; her great grandchildren, Julien, Hunter and Jonah; her son-in-law William; and her grandchildren-in-law, Alicia and Pierce.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McFarland Funeral Chapel (54 McFarland Dr, Tryon, NC 28782).

“Lori and I first met Karen and Bob when they first started their winery. They lived in the apartment above the tasting room and we came to love the adventure of being there at the beginning. Though not earth shaking but I have to say when Bob and Karen built that pizza oven, we had some pretty interesting concoctions we put on the pizzas. We're going to miss our dear Karen. Bruce and Lori Heckelman”
