She is survived by: her sons, Walter Douglas Short of Asheville and Edward "Gary" Short (Angie) of Mill Spring; her grandchildren, Becca, Jeremy Troxel of Mill Spring, Brandy Stevens of Olds, Tressa Barnes, Aaron Bowman of Youngtown and Arizona; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Evander, Lila Troxel of Mill Spring, Valie and Gabe Avarado of Polk County; and her siblings, Shelia (Stanley Capps), Susan (Steve Helms), Martin Wade Andrews of Mill Spring, Jackie (Rufus Searcy), Larry (Lou Andrews) and Phillip (Keri Andrews).
