She is survived by: her son Michael Griffin (Kimberly) of Mill Spring, NC; her grandchildren, Kristin Hubbs (Katie) of Lancaster, OH, Caleb Griffin (Leah) of Mill Spring, NC and Rachel Griffin (John Paul) of Columbia, SC; her siblings, Carl Weatherman, Jr. (Brenda) of Forest City, NC, Ronnie P. Weatherman of Rutherfordton, NC, Kenneth Weatherman (Kathy) of Waynesville, NC and Sarah Weatherman of Caroleen, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Reid (Albert) of Landrum, SC, Patricia Pittman (James) of Columbus, NC and James Griffin (Ann) of Mill Spring, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (140 Beulah Church Ln, Tryon, NC 28782). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
