He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ray and Edith Jane Miller Bowlin. He is survived by: his wife Sue Absher Bowlin; his sisters, Jane Chambers (Larry) of North Wilkesboro and Mickey Edmiston of North Wilkesboro; his siblings-in-law, Linda Eller of Winston Salem, Vivian Tedder of Lansing and Tommy Absher of Yadkinville; his mother-in-law Bonnie Absher of Troutdale, Virginia; and his granddaughter Celena Rodriquez of Millers Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
