He was predeceased by: his father James Julian. He is survived by: his mother Janette Anderson Caudill; his brother Joseph Caudill (Tiffany) of Wilkesboro; his sibling's children, Madeline Caudill, William Caudill (Jessica), Bryan Francis and Connor Caudill; his great-niece Ella Price; and his great-nephew Levi Caudill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America, 3057 Nutley Street, #805, Fairfax VA 22031-1931.
