He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Benge and Winnie Perkins Benge; his wife Annie Lee Shepherd Benge; and his sisters, Freda Benge and Marita Royal.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Benge of Millers Creek and Bryant Benge (Kathy) of Millers Creek; and his grandsons, Brian Benge (Rebecca) of Cricket, Austin Ellis (Jasmine) of Millers Creek and Matthew Benge of Millers Creek.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
