He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Shelton and Marie Helton Shelton; his daughter Teresa Ann Shelton; and his siblings, Deborah Jones, Robert, Larry and Jerry Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Allison Shelton; his children, Shelley L. Robinson (Michael Rodney) and Robert Edward Shelton; his siblings, Gladys Ballard, Hazel Willis, Wanda Phillips and Preston Shelton; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Robinson, Andrew Michael Robinson, Carlos Lemus (Michelle), Skyler, Dylan and River Shelton; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Alayna, Aiden, Abel and Ashton Lemus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
