Though Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Katherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty McCormack Moore; and her brother Robert A. Moore III. She is survived by: her husband Greg Van Voorhis; her sons, Graham (Amanda) and Kevin Van Voorhis; her father Robert A. Moore; her siblings, Steven Moore (Heidi) and Cynthia Moore; and her nephew Robert A. Moore, IV.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Black Mountain Children's Home in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
