He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Malone Allen and Mary Helen Whitaker Allen; his grandparents, Edgar Whitaker and Edith Sitton Whitaker; and his cousin Sid Whitaker.
He is survived by: his brother Steve Allen; his sister-in-law Tricia Allen; his nephews, Andy Allen and Matthew Allen (Christina Allen); his niece Kerry Ravan (Cameron Ravan); and his great-nieces, Maylin and Ella Allen.
