She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Joshua and Ada Nance Braswell; her husband Andy; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by: her children, Richard A. Kaba of Mint Hill, NC, Jane Kaba Helms (Keith) of Stallings, NC and John D. Kaba of Pelion, SC.; her sister Audrey Biggers of Matthews, NC; and her grandchildren, Brendon Helms, Hannah Smith and Erin Reynolds. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
