She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Alvin and Genettie Caudle Ladd; her husband Marion A. Whitten (Buddy); and her siblings, Lydia Crowe, Imogene Zuydwegt, Ralph Ladd, Clarence Ladd and Boyd Ladd.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Whitten (Page) of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Laura P. Whitten of Charlotte, NC and Daniel Whitten (Laura E.) of Mint Hill, NC; her great grandchildren, Abel, Nora and Ladd Whitten of Mint Hill, NC; and her brothers, R. W. Ladd of Harriman, TN and Avery Ladd (Becky) of Kingston, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
