He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Morris and Juanita Morris. He is survived by : his wife Denise Morris; his sons, Walker Morris (Emily) and Ben Morris (Becca); his grandchildren, Teigan Morris, Riley Morris, Lane Morris and Lucy Morris; his sister Mary Hart Scott (David); his niece Kelly Scott; his nephew Nick Scott (Kathryn); and his great-niece Olivia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, the National Kidney Foundation, or the American Red Cross.
