With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Leroy Mobley Jr. of Mint Hill, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 71. As Edward Leroy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edward Leroy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edward Leroy leaves behind.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mint Hill Baptist Church (7835 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227).

In lieu of flowers and to support our first responders and JAARS, donations can be made to Mint Hill Fire Prevention Bureau, Mint Hill Police Fundraiser, Medic Benevolence Fund, and JAARS.
