It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Garry Clontz (Mint Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Clontz and Lottie Stilwell Clontz; his wife Jean Troutman Clontz of Midland, NC; his son Garry Dale Clontz; his granddaughter Amy Lynn Clontz; and his siblings, Isaac Avery Clontz, John Hilton Clontz, Margaret Lou Clontz Mullis, Clarence Turner Clontz, Worth Blair Clontz, Betty Love Clontz Hill and Polly Brown Clontz Knight.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Jan Clontz of Mint Hill, NC; his granddaughter Crystal Clontz Davis (Darren); his great grandchildren, Kira and Kenley Davis of Waxhaw, NC; his granddaughter Amber Clontz of Elgin, SC; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Clontz of Indian Trail, NC. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
