We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 94, Joanne Bates of Mint Hill, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanne Bates to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Earl Thurber and Thelma Brown. She is survived by : her sons, Gregory Alan Bates of Jacksonville and Jon Scott Bates (Marla Bates) of Indian Trail; and her brother Donald Thurber (Sally) of Arizona City, Arizona. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
