She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McKenna and Elsie McKenna. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Bentzen and Ronda Avila. She is also survived by four grandsons, four great grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel (7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
