She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carl and Margaret Gretchin McCann Brooks; her husband Albert Otto "Toe" Sheets, Jr.; and her siblings, Leslie Wayne Brooks, Sr., J. C. Brooks and Carol Murphy.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law David Murphy; and her sibling's children, Leslie Wayne Brooks, Jr. (Tracy), John Brooks, Sherry Brooks, Deborah Murphy, Ritchie Murphy, Kevin Murphy and Alicia Brooks.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Carpenter Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
