Though Lou may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lou leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Janea Geer (William "Bill"), Tonya Young (William "Les") and Ronnie Plowman (Robin); her grandchildren, Michael T. Plowman (Caitlin), William Geer and Briahna Young (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Bella Plowman, Nova Plowman and Waylon Jacob Waller.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel (7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
