It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Lindstrom Nye of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice Taylor Nye; and his siblings, Reggie Nye, Beverly Curtis and Norris Angela Nye. He is survived by: his father Rudus Dulon; his wife Pauline "Polly" Sims Nye; his children, Phil Jr. Backed and Patty Brooks (Tim) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Tim Brooks Jr. (Beth) of Concord, Megan McGrath (Josh) of Huntersville and Travis Nye of Charlotte; and his great grandchild Grayson Brooks of Concord.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Phil's favorite mission.
