He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Penny" Mullis and Martha Honeycutt Mullis; and his brother Donald "Banjo" Mullis. He is survived by: his siblings, Portia Watson (Robert), Irene Furr (Larry), Charles Mullis, Tommy Mullis (Kathy) and Shirley Kiser (Billy).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church (6335 Wilson Grove Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
