Vann Matthews Obituary

We bid farewell to Vann Matthews of Mint Hill, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Vann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur James Matthews and Carrie Byrd Matthews; and his daughter Susan Kay Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Ola Mae Matthews; his daughters, Donna Moran (Bob), Cathy Dunne (Gary) and Lisa Williams (Michael); and his grandchildren, Scott Stevens, Kristen Dunne, Stacy Lowe, Kelsey Dunne, Evan Dunne, Melissa Bailey, Spencer Williams and Stephanie Williams. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
