With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Riddle Hartman (Mocksville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Vestal Riddle and Vada Smith Riddle; her husband John Charles Hartman; her son Benny Hartman; and her siblings, Eula Riddle Holder and Vestal Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Rowe (David) of Clemmons, Ruth Zink (Chris) of Mocksville, Peggy Blocker (Todd) of Mocksville and Charles Hartman (Cathy) of High Point; her daughter-in-law Sarah Hartman; and her siblings, Penny Bowles (Jimmy) of Advance, Linda Stephens (Jim) of Swansboro and Larry Riddle (Sue) of Advance. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
