He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Anne Flicek Slate; his children, Olivia Nicole Slate (Tucker), Nicayla J. Slate (Brian), Luis Soto (Sara) and Mercedes Soto (Bill); and his grandchildren, Aubrey Soto, Brian Foster Soloman and Gabriel Williams.
