She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Godbey and Martha Trivette Godbey; and her pets, Buster and Charlie Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Tosha Palmer and Kayla Johnson (Shannon); her stepdaughter Tina Ashburn (Jackson); her grandchildren, Veronica, Bella, Sammy Jr., Kaylee, Mason, Kayah of Collin, AJ, Landon, Aila, Aiddan, Breanna, Stacy Jr. and Tanisha; and her great grandchild Emeris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Chapel (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made directly to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
