It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Andrew Hunt of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Aarmon and Adelaide Johnston Hunt; and his siblings, Genie, Robert "Bobby", James and Katherine Jo Steele Hunt.

He is survived by: his children, David Andrew "Andy" Hunt, Jr. (Sandra) and Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Hunt (Matthew Fink); his grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Hunt and Sarah Grace Hunt; and his brothers, Charles Hunt (Virginia) and Paul Hunt (Chris). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 4530 Park Road, Ste. 240, Charlotte, NC 28209.
