She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cicero Perryman and Callie Lineback Perryman; her husband James Dwight Shuler; her brother Ray C. Perryman; and her son-in-law Billy Joe Brown.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ann Shuler and Judy Brown of Mocksville; her granddaughter Tammy Renegar (Luther) of Mocksville; and her great grandchild Ethan Renegar.
