He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Pennington and Edgar Dean Huffman. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Huffman Jr. (Carrie) of Mocksville and Timothy Huffman (Robin) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Jacob Huffman, Jordan Huffman, Cody Huffman, Jonathan Tise and Emily Harwood; his siblings, David Huffman, Roger Huffman and Shirley Cox; and his nephews, Stanley Huffman and David Huffman.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
