He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Baxter and Helen Lucille Lewis Ashburn; his siblings, Shirley Poston, Donald Lewis, Clifford Lewis and Richard Ashburn; and his brother-in-law Elton Poston.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Shores Ashburn; his daughter Leslie Gail Ashburn Richardson; his son-in-law Zack; his brothers, Joe Ashburn (Corindia) and Wayne Lewis (Barbara); his sisters-in-law, Carol Lewis, Rebecca Lewis and Debbie Ashburn; his aunt Shirley Lewis; and his uncle James Lewis (Jonell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
