It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Clay Harris of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Somers and Panthea Templeton Harris; his former wife Maxine Harris; and his brother Travis Harris. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Harris of Winston-Salem; his brother Julius Harris; his wife Willa Dean of Thurmond; his sisters, Louetta Stone (Jerry) of Advance and Maggie Bodford (John) of Clemmons; his grandson Evan Benge; and his close friend Wongduen Shoaf.
