It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Harold Gryder of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Gryder and Mabel Brown Gryder. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Brown Gryder; his daughters, Christy Tyner (Tommy), Holly Rash (Chris) and Rebekah Ranker (Peter); his grandchildren, Austin Tyner, Mattilyn Ranker (Matti) and Alyssa Ranker; and his siblings, Linda Johnson and Danny Gryder (Tyra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Mocksville (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Chapel (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028).
