He was predeceased by: his father Charles E. Shores; his grandfather Charles W Shores; his great-grandparents, Heber Ayers Jr. (Evelyn) and Blanche Shores (Paternal); and his aunt Robin Fulk.
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Rock Shores; his stepfather Larry Dashney; his children, Karlee and Charles of Hamptonville; his siblings, Josh Shores (Brittany) of Millers Creek, Brittany Shores of Elkin and Jennifer Kiger (Austin) of East Bend; his stepsiblings, Molly Dashney, Savanna Roberts (Gunner), Kayla Lanier and Matt Lanier (Jessica); his uncles, Jason Rock of Kernersville and Kenneth Shores (Cheryl); his aunt Charlene Lawson of Lumberton, SC.; his stepfather Hank Lanier; his grandparents, Linda Taylor (James) of Statesville, Jean Cockerham (Jim) of East Bend and Jeter Wayne Rock of Kernersville; and his close friends, Katie Robertson (Landon), Charles Silvers, Jonathan, Dave Stinson and Michael Jackson. He is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, several cousins.
