He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sanford Cranfill and Christeen Barneycastle Ireland; his stepfather Jerry Ireland; and his great grandchild Dorothy Marie Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Delaine Koontz Cranfill; his children, Heath Cranfill (Ann), Paula Marin (Isael), Brianna Cranfill (Lakwon), Jim Brown, Ellie Drye (Noah) and Johnny Brown (Lee Ann); his sister Regina Ireland; his grandchildren, Brittany Taylor (Chase), Ashlen Drye (Chance), Caleb Drye (Lyndsi), Kody Brown (Brad), Mason Brown and Lyla Brown; and his close friend Mike Smith (Kathleen).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bear Creek Baptist Church (492 Bear Creek Church Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028).
