He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Cooper and Lelia Soots Pardue; his wife Shelby Nail Pardue; and his siblings, Lester Pardue, Vestal Pardue, Burton Pardue, Ardie Stone, Easter Correll, Edith Lambert and R. T. Pardue.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Pardue Costner (Wes) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Morgan Costner Darkow (Andrew) of Wake Forest and Alex Costner of Mocksville; his great grandchild Asher Darkow; and his siblings, Minnie Sue Padgett of Ronda and Dickie Pardue (Judy) of Hamptonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lambert Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Mocksville (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lambert Funeral Chapel (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028).
