With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Maurice Tenery of Mocksville, North Carolina, born in Milford, Texas, who passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Maurice Tenery to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. L. M. and Jewell Gardner Tenery; his grandson Darren Martin; and his siblings, Glenda Faye Gamble and James Tenery.

He is survived by: his wife Willo; his children, Sam Tenery (Debbie) of Mocksville, David Tenery (Stephanie) of Nebo, Kathy Martin (Gary) of Mocksville and Walt Tenery (Joanne) of Arlington, Texas; and his grandchildren, Carrie Ratledge (Brad), Josh Tenery, Dustin Martin (Rebekah) and Kelli Ellison (Jeremy). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Operation Transformation, P.O. Box 1102, Salisbury, NC 28145.
