He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah "Jake" Arnold and Annie Beatrice Foster Arnold; his brother Gary "Bookie" Arnold; his granddaughter Shalexus Grier; and his girlfriend Vickie Neal.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine R. Neely (Edmund Herdrick, Sr) of Concord, Richard S. Neely (Gail Robinson) of Charlotte and Sherman "Nick" Arnold (Kristin) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Shaneka Grier, Shantell Grier, Daryl Grier, Jr., Shakirya Grier, Cameron Grier, Queneasha Pinckney, Jasmyn Neely, Richard Neely, Jr., Janee Robinson, Shanya Taylor, Chenel Robinson, Madison Robinson, Braylon C. Arnold and Bodhi C. Arnold; his sisters, Kathie T. Foster of Mocksville and Stacey R. Ashton of Midland; and his pet Charlie Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (416 Valley Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
