It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas James Carter of Mocksville, North Carolina, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James "Jimmy" Hubert Carter; and his grandparents, Baxter, Margaret Gregory, Hubert and Helen Carter.

He is survived by: his mother Barbara Gregory Carter; his daughters, Candis Ann Chaffin (Shaun) of Mocksville, Cayla Sanchez Ramirez (Jose) of Winston-Salem and Amy Bolmer (Jon) of Mt. Ulla; his siblings, Melanie Walker and Frank Carter (Jennifer); and his aunt Ann Carter Dyson of Mocksville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
