She was predeceased by: her father Everette Thurman; her former husband John Robert Looney; her husband Leland Coursey, Jr.; and her siblings, James Everette Harmon, Shirley Etta Harmon Fury, Sally Marie Harmon Pyne, Thurmond Lewis Alexander Harmon, Marjorie Ann Harmon Fury and Genevieve Lee Harmon Howard.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Ellen Howard Harmon; her children, Judy Looney Wilson (Rick) of Mocksville and John Robert Looney, Jr. (Dreama) of Mineral, VA; her grandsons, John Looney, III of Mineral, VA and Paul Looney of Mineral, VA; her stepgrandchildren, Jody Howell (Ronald) of Mocksville, Shelia Lambert (Bryan) of Pensacola, FL and Ricky Wilson (Jody) of Independence, VA; and her sister Frances Dotson Boggs of Lewisburg, WV. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and several other children.
