She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine Merle Chappel. She is survived by: her father Samuel Craig McElhannon; her stepmother Trish; her husband Paul Jonathan Austin; her children, Travis Koltermann (Alanna), Garret Koltermann, Justin Koltermann (Chantell) and Cassidy Guy (Joshua); her stepdaughters, Kayla White (Zack) and Hayley Dana; her siblings, Dana Pappas (Mick) and Sterling McElhannon (Gonul); and her pets, Raegan, River and Rosie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
She was an active board member for the Christopher Reeves Foundation, and a volunteer for the PVA Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
