He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Paulk. He is survived by: his parent Beverly Ware; his wife Karen Massey Paulk; his children, Alexander Paulk, Raven Paulk and Austin Paulk; his granddaughter Aubrei Jane Hood of Monroe; his brothers, David Price of Pageland and Albert Mosley of Charlotte; his grandmother Leola White of Charlotte; and his aunt Sabrina White. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

Memorials may be made to Levine Children's Hospital for Cancer Research, 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
