She was predeceased by: her sister Sharon Mills. She is survived by: her parents, Eugene Rowell and Mary Rowell; her sons, Chris Simpson, Tommy Simpson and Justin Simpson; her siblings, Mike Rowell (Annette), Karen Wheeler (Andres) and Teresa Almond; and her brother-in-law David Blackburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Monroe Deliverance Center Church of God, 3210 Secrest Short Cut Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
