He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley George and Rossie Medlin Chaney; and his siblings, Lucille Chaney Rushing, Joyce Chaney Bivens, Hayden Chaney and Thurman Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Kapfer (Garry), Kevin Chaney (Dana), Shelton Chaney (Jennifer) and Little League; his wife Mary Frances; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Jonah, Emma, Lois and Matthew Chaney.
