She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Gordon and Mae Gordon; her husband Grier Bennett "Benny" Simpson; and her brothers, Howard Gordon, Richard Gordon, Erwin Gordon and Kenneth Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Simpson (Sherri) and Susan Simpson; her grandchildren, Jonathan Simpson (Kelly), Michael Simpson (Jenny) and Lindsey Belk (Brandon); and her great grandchild Bailey Blackmon.
