As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobbie Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Arthur Sanderford and Tora Nichols Sanderford; and her brothers, Woodrow Sanderford and Jackson Sanderford. She is survived by: her husband Mike Glasgow; her children, Tamara Bratton (Steve) of Dalton, GA and Donald James Glasgow (Kathleen) of Monroe, NC; and her sister Patti Harper (Richard). She is also survived by three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Holland Funeral Service (806 Circle Dr, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704).
